jUnglPunk pottery

Welcome to the jUnglpunk...

Art forest. Bone garden. Stone spirits emerging from the moss... messy ideas infused with a little magick...Under the oaks and the madrones and the pines of the Sierra Foothills

My name is Jules. I've been making art for years and finally started with ceramics at my local community studio in 2020. My favorite forms have always leaned into the figurative, gestural and surrealistic.

Nature is also a huge inspiration. Plants are nature's sculpture in it of itself. I try to create pots that either enhance the natural greenery or at least does not seek to compete with the main attraction.
